Job summary

Oliver Fire Protection & Security is seeking a proactive Senior Accountant to join our King of Prussia accounting team. You will support daily accounting functions, strengthen financial reporting, and deliver timely financial information for leadership including the Controller and CFO.

You will manage the close process, perform GL analyses, prepare journal entries, and assist with budgets and internal controls to ensure accurate, scalable reporting across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA/CMA certifications preferred but not required.
• Experience with general ledger analysis and month-end close.
• Strong financial reporting and internal controls experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed general ledger analysis and prepare journal entries.
• Manage and support the financial close process including accruals and allocations.
• Compile monthly/quarterly financial statements and schedules.
• Support external review, tax engagements, and regulatory reporting.
• Contribute to budget preparation and variance analysis.
• Assist with internal controls optimization and process improvements.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to leadership.

Position Summary

We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Accounting team in King of Prussia. In this role, you'll support daily accounting functions, strengthen financial reporting, and help provide accurate, timely financial information for the Controller, CFO, and senior leadership.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform detailed general ledger account analysis, update supporting schedules, and prepare required journal entries to support accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Manage and support the financial close process, including accruals, deferrals, allocations, and required adjustments.
• Compile monthly and periodic financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules in collaboration with the accounting team.
• Support quarterly and annual external review and tax engagements.
• Perform daily banking functions, including operating cash reconciliation, reporting, and forecasting.
• Support payroll tax compliance initiatives and required reporting.
• Assist with budget preparation and budget-to-actual analysis.
• Maintain internal controls and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and compliance.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and reports for the Controller, CFO, and senior leadership as needed.
