Job summary

Tech24 in Greenville, SC, seeks a Senior Accountant to join the corporate accounting team. You will own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements, and collaborate with FP&A and operations to ensure timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting preferred.
• CPA license or active pursuit preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ERP and accounting systems experience helpful.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process for assigned areas, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with GAAP.
• Partner with FP&A and operational leaders to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Support external audit requests, including preparation of schedules and documentation, and serve as a point of contact for auditors on assigned areas.
• Review and mentor staff accountant work product, providing technical guidance and feedback.
• Identify and drive process improvements to increase the accuracy and efficiency of the close and reporting cycle.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls across assigned accounting functions.
• Research and document technical accounting positions as new transactions or standards arise.
• Assist with special projects and analysis as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer.

Tech24 is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the corporate accounting team in Greenville, South Carolina. This role is a key contributor to the monthly close process, financial reporting, and reconciliations, while also serving as a technical resource and mentor to staff level accountants. This position offers a clear path for growth. GROWTH OPPORTUNITY

• This role is intended for a high potential accounting professional. Within one to two years, a successful Senior Accountant will be positioned to advance into an Accounting Manager role as the team grows.
• Compensation: $85,000-$110,000
