Sunbelt Rentals in Fort Mill, SC is seeking a qualified accounting professional to join our finance team. This role supports the month, quarter, and year-end close processes, reconciles general ledger accounts, drafts monthly journal entries, and collaborates with other departments to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in accounting, 2–3 years in public accounting, CPA or CPA-path, and strong Excel skills. Travel may be required.

Position Responsibilities: This position will be an important part of the monthly close process to ensure accounts are reconciled timely and accurately, and acquisitions are accounted for in accordance with relevant accounting standards. This person will also work on ad hoc reporting and other accounting related duties.
Education & Experience:
Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job. Some Sunbelt jobs may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions including rain, wind or excessive temperatures and/or night and weekend work.
