Job summary

Spectrum is hiring for a field sales role in Texas to acquire new residential customers in non-bulk MDUs with 50+ doors through door-to-door outreach. Expect approximately 80% outdoor activity in varied weather and a base salary with lucrative incentives that can push total compensation beyond $100,000 annually.

Spectrum also offers free services for employees. You'll meet sales targets, educate customers on Spectrum services, document activities, and stay informed about competitors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years in sales or customer service.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Meet monthly sales targets within the assigned MDU portfolio and standards.
• Engage potential customers door-to-door in MDUs with 50+ doors to acquire new residential customers.
• Generate incremental revenue by adding Spectrum services within assigned properties.
• Respond to customer problems per company policy and ensure issues are resolved.
• Maintain knowledge of competitors and market directions; update supervisor on changes.
• Attend sales meetings and training; apply learnings to improve results.
• Accurately complete required sales documentation and reporting.
• Collect payments and provide receipts according to policy.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
• Meet or exceed established monthly sales performance targets and penetration goals within the assigned MDU portfolio, as defined in the Standards of Sales Performance.
• Engage potential customers in non-bulk multi-dwelling unit properties with 50+ doors through door-to-door outreach toacquirenew residential customers
• Generate incremental revenue from existing customers by adding new oradditionalSpectrum services within assigned properties.
• Respond to customer problems and complaints according to established company policy, using appropriate toolsand resources, andfollowthrough to ensure issues are satisfactorily resolved.
• Maintain a well-informed knowledge base of competitors’ activities, pricing, and offers throughout the assigned territory, and inform the supervisor/manager of changing competitive programs or marketing directions.
• Attend and actively contribute to sales meetings and training programs; apply learning and feedback to improve individual sales results.
• Accurately complete all necessary documentation to support sales activities, including dispositions, sales orders, and sales reporting, in a manner consistent with quality control guidelines and requiredtimeframes.
• Collect and account for funds and provide receipts according to Company policy and guidelines.

Working Conditions

• Spend approximately 80% of your time outdoors, walking door-to-door and lifting up to 20 pounds in various weather
• Work variable hours, including evenings, weekends, split days off and holidays

Required Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience

• 1+ years in sales or customer service

• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record within Company required standards
