Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking a Senior Account Manager for its global SMC organization in a fast-paced sales environment.

You will lead senior client relationships, plan and optimize branded and performance video campaigns, and drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver measurable ROI. You will analyze campaign data, educate on products, onboard new team members, and identify upsell opportunities while coordinating with executives and strategists.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in business, communications, marketing, or equivalent years of experience.
  • 5+ years proven experience taking data and evaluating success metrics to drive campaign performance.
  • 5+ years working with clients to understand brand strategy and major issues while performing in-depth data analysis.
  • Experience in digital media, ad-tech, programmatic real-time bidding or related field.
  • Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and grow relationships with key clients and agency partners.
  • Educate brands and agencies on Snap’s products and best practices to drive performance.
  • Onboard and mentor junior account staff; align cross-functional relationships during RFPs.
  • Collaborate with account executives and creative strategists to develop innovative campaigns.
  • Dive deep into campaign data, define KPI-driven measurement, and recommend optimizations.
  • Drive adoption of Snap’s self-service platform and auction tools; provide real-time analysis.
  • Develop best-in-class case studies to support a test-and-learn agenda across categories.

As a member of the Sales team, you will work in a fun, fast-paced and fluid environment. You’ll help grow and nurture senior-level client relationships, analyze and optimize campaign performance, strategically plan branded and performance video campaigns, and lead complex platform work streams.What you’ll do:Lead, manage, and proactively grow relationships with key clients and agency partnersProactively lead product update discussions, educate brands and agencies on Snap’s new and existing products, and advise on best practices to drive optimal performance and groundbreaking campaignsHelp onboard new account managers and account specialists, ensuring they understand best practices and key cross-functional relationshipsPartner with account executives and creative strategists throughout the RFP process to develop innovative, insight-driven digital campaigns on Snapchat, bringing measurable ROI for our clientsLead projects involving complex work streams and cross-functional collaboration (internally and externally)Dive deep into campaign performance data; guide KPI driven measurement strategies, identify performance trends, optimize campaigns to achieve results, and provide recommendations for upsell opportunitiesIncrease adoption and engagement of Snap’s self-service platform and auction-based tools, providing ongoing technical support and real time analysisProactively develop best-in-class case studies that deliver a constantly evolving test-and-learn agenda across the categoryKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Advanced Excel skills, as well as experience with analyzing datasets and delivering actionable insightsIncredibly data driven, with deep understanding of advertising performance metricsProven experience working effectively with cross-functional teams and all levels of management (internally and externally)Expert understanding of advertising performance metricsDeep understanding of media management within a biddable auction advertising environment and demonstrated skill in educating others (e.g., advertisers, agencies)Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to changesAbility to lead multiple projects with strong attention to detailExceptional communication skills; both written and verbalExceptional organizational and prioritization skillsMinimum Qualifications:BS/BA degree in business, communications, marketing, or another related area of study or equivalent years of experience5+ years proven experience taking complex data and evaluating success metrics to create data stories that drive campaign performance or5+ years working with clients to understand the brand strategy, product attributes, main competitors, and major issues facing their business while performing in-depth data analysis that deliver both short and long term strategiesExperience in the digital media industry with a focus on performance and brand marketing, ad-tech, programmatic in real-time bidding marketplaces, or a related fieldPreferred Qualifications:Pre-existing relationships with senior-level client decision-makers and brand marketersImpressive track record of delivering on quota and obtaining positive reviewsA passion for Snapchat as a user and solid knowledge of our ad products\"Default Together\" Policy at Snap: At Snap Inc. we believe that being together in person helps us build our culture faster, reinforce our values, and serve our community, customers and partners better through dynamic collaboration. These pay zones may be modified in the future.Zone A (CA, WA, NYC) :The base salary range for this position is $107,000-$161,000 annually.Zone B :The base salary range for this position is $102,000-$153,000 annually.Zone C :The base salary range for this position is $91,000-$137,000 annually.This position is eligible to participate in a sales incentive program.
