Job summary

Clarios seeks a Senior Account Manager to drive strategic account growth for Maxwell's power and energy portfolio. You will lead revenue expansion, cultivate executive relationships, and coordinate with engineering, product management, and operations to align customer needs with Maxwell's technology roadmap.

What you will do-

The Senior Account Manager is responsible for developing and growing strategic customer relationships for Maxwell's portfolio of power and energy solutions. This role serves as the primary commercial lead for assigned accounts and is accountable for driving revenue growth, expanding customer partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting the adoption of innovative energy storage and power management technologies.

Working closely with engineering, product management, operations, and marketing teams, the Senior Account Manager develops and executes customer strategies that align market needs with Maxwell's technology roadmap and business objectives.

Strategic Account Leadership
  • Serve as the primary commercial owner for assigned strategic accounts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships across customer organizations, including operational, technical, and executive stakeholders.
  • Lead account planning, business reviews, and growth strategy discussions.
  • Act as the voice of the customer within Maxwell.
Business Growth & Customer Development
  • Drive revenue growth through expansion of existing customer relationships and identification of new opportunities.
  • Develop and execute account growth strategies aligned with customer needs and Maxwell's business objectives.
  • Support commercial activities including proposals, quotations, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities and growth initiatives.
Market & Customer Insight
  • Develop an understanding of industry trends, customer priorities, and emerging opportunities within power, energy, and electrification markets.
  • Identify opportunities where Maxwell technologies can address evolving customer challenges.
  • Provide market feedback to support future product development and business strategy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Coordinate with engineering, product management, operations, quality, and customer support teams to deliver successful customer outcomes.
  • Support customer evaluations, product launches, and program execution activities.
  • Facilitate issue resolution and ensure a positive customer experience throughout the commercial lifecycle.
Business Performance Management
  • Deliver revenue, profitability, and growth objectives for assigned accounts.
  • Support forecasting, business planning, and strategic reviews.
  • Track key account metrics and drive accountability for results.
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in account management, business development, sales, or customer-facing commercial roles.
  • Demonstrated success managing strategic customer relationships and driving business growth.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
Preferred
  • Experience in power, energy storage, electrification, industrial technology, or related markets.
  • Experience selling technical products or solutions.
  • MBA or advanced technical degree.
