The Solutions Technical Sales Account Manager is responsible for maximizing the long‑term value of assigned customer and dealer relationships within Caterpillar's Electric Power Solutions business. Serving as the primary strategic point of contact, this role develops a deep understanding of customer objectives, business drivers, and technical requirements to deliver solutions that create demonstrable value for both the customer and Caterpillar. Working closely with dealers, customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders, the Account Manager leads early engagement activities, helps define project requirements, develops solution concepts, and coordinates the resources necessary to support successful project execution. Through strong technical expertise, business acumen, and proactive relationship management, the Account Manager identifies growth opportunities, strengthens customer confidence, and positions Caterpillar as a trusted long‑term partner. Success in this role is measured by customer satisfaction, relationship strength, opportunity development and volume / share growth within the assigned customer portfolio.

Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

Value Selling: Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling products, technology and services; ability to provide overall product/service value and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs.

This position is located in Griffin, GA; Lafayette, IN; and Irving, TX. Travel up to 25% is required. Domestic relocation assistance is offered for this position. Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position. This position requires the candidate to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.
