Job summary

AmeriHealth Caritas is seeking an Account Executive Sr. to build and sustain provider relationships and drive performance within risk-based and cost-sharing contracts across multiple health systems.

The role includes supporting network development, provider education, and communications, plus mentoring new Account Executives and leading contract oversight with a focus on compliant, high-quality care delivery.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required or 5+ years as an Account Executive.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Seven years’ experience if no bachelor’s degree.
• Five (5) or more years strong communication skills, financial acumen, ability to have difficult conversations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain provider relationships and performance with risk-based or cost-sharing contracts.
• Support provider satisfaction, education, and communication initiatives.
• Train, mentor, and support new Account Executives.
• Oversee hospital and multi-location network development and contracts.
• Resolve provider disputes promptly and compliantly.
• Assist with VBC contract negotiations and performance reviews.
• Monitor provider performance against VBC/state program requirements.
• Perform site visits and coordinate network education programs.
