Job summary

Genesys is hiring a Senior Account Executive for the New York/New Jersey enterprise market. You will own territory strategy, drive multi-stakeholder deals, and forecast accurately using MEDDPICC. The role offers exposure to enterprise decision-makers, a competitive base, and potential commissions for performance-based rewards.

You will build executive relationships, lead complex sales cycles, and partner with solution consultants to position differentiated value across large accounts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of quota-carrying sales experience in enterprise or strategic accounts.
• Experience closing complex multi-stakeholder deals with measurable revenue impact.
• Experience managing full-cycle sales processes including prospecting, pipeline development, forecasting, negotiation, and closing.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate business value to senior leaders.
• Proven ability to independently generate pipeline and drive territory growth.
• Experience applying MEDDPICC or similar sales methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of quota-carrying sales experience in enterprise or strategic accounts
• Demonstrated success closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals with measurable revenue impact
• Experience managing full-cycle sales processes, including prospecting, pipeline development, forecasting, negotiation, and closing
• Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate business value to senior leaders
• Proven ability to independently generate pipeline and drive territory growth
• Experience applying structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC or similar frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience selling cloud-based or SaaS solutions within enterprise environments
• Background in customer experience, contact center, or related technology platforms
• Track record of exceeding quota in highly competitive markets
• Ability to translate technical capabilities into strategic business outcomes

Compensation

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.

$111,700.00 - $196,300.00
