Senior Account Executive – Construction Analysis Tools

This position supports customers in the Northeast US including MA, NY, NH, NJ & CT. Hexagon is a global leader in digital reality solutions, combining sensor, software, and autonomous technologies to drive efficiency, productivity, and sustainability across industries. Within our Geosystems division, Hexagon Building Solutions Integrated (BSI) integrates world-class ‘Create, Capture, Analyze’ solutions that redefine how the built environment is documented, measured, and optimized.

We are seeking a Senior Account Executive (AE) to join our Hexagon BSI sales team and lead commercial expansion for our Analysis-based tools—focusing on progress reporting, deviation analysis, and digital construction intelligence. This is a unique opportunity for a strategic, results-oriented sales professional to make an impact within a fast-growing and highly innovative organization.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop, manage, and expand a high-quality pipeline of enterprise and mid-market opportunities.
  • Identify and close new accounts while nurturing long‑term, trusted customer relationships.
Drive Customer Value
  • Present Hexagon’s integrated Building Solutions portfolio with clarity and conviction, articulating how our technology delivers measurable value in project efficiency, accuracy, and ROI.
  • Collaborate with technical and customer success teams to ensure seamless adoption and customer satisfaction.
Execute with Precision
  • Lead structured sales cycles from discovery to close, delivering tailored proposals and commercial negotiations that align with customer objectives.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
Leverage Systems & Data
  • Utilize Salesforce (CRM) to manage pipeline visibility, forecast accuracy, and deal execution rigor.
  • Use data-driven insights to prioritize opportunities and sharpen execution.
Stay Ahead of the Market
  • Maintain deep understanding of market trends, competitive positioning, and customer pain points within the construction technology and geospatial ecosystem.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Finance, Marketing, Engineering, and other Hexagon business units to align on account strategy and ensure unified customer engagement.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • 10+ years of proven success in B2B enterprise sales, preferably within construction technology, geospatial, SaaS, or industrial software industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and close six‑ and seven‑figure deals.
  • Skilled at articulating value propositions and differentiating sophisticated technology solutions.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Comfortable working cross‑functionally and influencing at executive levels.
  • Proficient with Salesforce or equivalent CRM platforms; data‑driven and process‑oriented.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%+.
