Role Description: The Senior Account Executive is a full-time, hybrid role based in Phoenix. This role leads day-to-day tactical account management for multiple clients, including planning, executing, and optimizing integrated communications and PR programs.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing strategic communication plans
• Managing media relations and pitching
• Drafting press materials and thought leadership content
• Conducting reporting, analytics and recommendations based on earned media coverage
• Communicating with clients and project coordination

The Senior Account Executive will monitor industry trends, track campaign performance, prepare reports, and present results and recommendations to clients. This position also collaborates closely with internal teams, and helps mentor junior team members to ensure high-quality, results-driven client service.

Qualifications

• At least four years of industry experience, either on the agency or client side.
• Strong experience in public relations, media relations, and crisis or reputation management, with the ability to develop and execute strategic communication plans.
• Proven account management capabilities, including client relationship management, project coordination, and performance reporting.
• Excellent writing and editing skills for press releases, pitches, key messages, thought leadership, and other client-facing materials.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site collaboration in the Phoenix area with remote work while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
• Experience working with or supporting regional, national, or global brands; experience and familiarity with Southwest markets are beneficial.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills, with a focus on measurable outcomes and continuous improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
