Radiance Technologies, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking a Senior Access Control Receptionist to provide critical physical security support to the Project Manager for Cyber and Space (PM C&S), under the Program Executive Office for Intelligence, Electronic Warfare, and Sensors (PEO IEW&S) in Hanover, Maryland. The Senior Access Control Receptionist will play a vital role in ensuring secure facility access and enforcing security protocols. The ideal candidate will bring years of hands-on experience in access control, ideally within a military or secure government environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and oversee access control duties including identification verification, visitor badging, and notification procedures.

  • Ensure 100% compliance with badge checks for all visitors entering the facility.

  • Conduct inspections of incoming packages and monitor security in designated areas.

  • Monitor all entry and exit points and maintain accurate logs of personnel traffic .

  • Identify and report any violations or suspicious activities to appropriate personnel .

  • Communicate effectively with staff, security teams, and leadership regarding access and visitor issues.

  • Maintain a professional and secure environment at all control points.

  • Support facility-wide security standards and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of access control operations and security procedures.

  • Strong communication , attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to maintain professionalism and vigilance in high-security environments.

  • U.S. Citizenship and active Secret clearance.

Required Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar access control or security role.

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous service in a military or government security environment.

  • Familiarity with Department of Defense access control protocols and security practices.
