Job summary

The Chronicle of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Cardio-Oncologist at senior ranks to join its academic clinician track in Philadelphia, PA. The role focuses on both clinical cardiology and cardio-oncology education within a renowned program.

Responsibilities include teaching across medical students to fellows, serving inpatient and outpatient Cardiology services at Penn, and advancing translational research with mentorship to enhance clinical productivity and regional prominence.

Qualifications

• MD or MD/PhD or equivalent degree is required.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in cardiovascular diseases.
• Experience commensurate with rank (Associate or Full Professor) in a non-tenure academic clinician track.

Responsibilities

• Teach medical students, residents, cardiovascular fellows and advanced practice providers; contribute to the educational mission; 100 credits per year of high-quality teaching.
• Attend on inpatient and outpatient services at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania; provide services for general cardiology patients; opportunities for non-invasive imaging based on expertise and divisional priorities.
• Collaborate with the Abramson Cancer Center and related oncology specialties; mentor clinical and clinical research productivity to grow national and regional prominence.
