Job summary

Influx Infosys is seeking an experienced Ab Initio ETL Developer with 8+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise data integration and ETL development. The role focuses on Ab Initio, including Ab Initio Metadata Hub, data lineage, and complex data pipelines.

The candidate will design, develop, test, and support ETL workflows, collaborate with analysts, architects, and QA, and ensure scalable, reliable data processing across multiple source/target systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in ETL/Data Integration development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Ab Initio ETL.
• Experience developing Ab Initio graphs, plans, components, and workflows.
• Exposure to Ab Initio Metadata Hub.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Data warehousing concepts and enterprise data integration.
• Understanding ETL architecture, data modeling, data transformation, and data quality.
• Experience with batch processing and enterprise scheduling tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in large enterprise environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement complex ETL workflows using Ab Initio.
• Develop and maintain Ab Initio graphs, plans, scripts, components, and applications.
• Work with Ab Initio Metadata Hub for metadata management, data lineage, discovery, and impact analysis.
• Translate business requirements into scalable ETL solutions.
• Develop data extraction, transformation, and loading processes across multiple sources and targets.
• Perform data cleansing, validation, aggregation, and reconciliation.
• Create reusable ETL components and frameworks following enterprise standards.
• Optimize Ab Initio jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot ETL failures, data quality issues, and production incidents.
• Perform unit, integration, regression testing; support UAT.
• Conduct source-to-target data analysis and mapping.
• Write complex SQL for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Maintain technical documentation and data mappings.
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to standards.
• Collaborate with Data Architects/Engineers on enterprise solutions.
• Coordinate with QA and production during deployments.
