Job summary

Ethereum Technologies LLC is seeking a Senior Ab Initio ETL Administrator to manage all administrative tasks for the Ab Initio tool and to lead the migration of the Ab Initio infrastructure to the cloud. The role emphasizes operational excellence, automation, and cross‑team collaboration.

The ideal candidate has extensive Ab Initio experience, strong UNIX/Linux and scripting skills, and a proven ability to oversee complex infrastructure projects with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with Ab Initio administration.
• Experience migrating infrastructure or building infrastructure without direct supervision.
• Advanced knowledge of Ab Initio GDE, Metadata Hub, and Operational Console.
• Experience with Ab Initio, AWS EKS, S3, DynamoDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, RDS, and DB2.
• Unix (AIX or Linux) and scripting experience.
• DevOps/CI/CD experience, Jenkins preferred.
• Strong SQL knowledge and SDLC experience.
• Excellent testing, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage all tasks for the Ab Initio ETL tool.
• Lead migration of Ab Initio infrastructure to the cloud (AWS EKS).
• Create ETL pipelines from on-prem to cloud storage (S3, EBS).
• Review ETL code and guide developers to resolve issues.
• Address break‑fix issues and production changes, with continuous improvement.
• Design automated ETL processes and architecture.
• Troubleshoot core components like MDH and Operational Console.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to align needs.
• Apply best practices for data auditing, scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Lead requirements gathering and design sessions.
• Operate in an enterprise environment with cross-team collaboration.
