Senior 5G Integration & Field-Testing Engineer

Location

Location: Candidates can work from either Ashburn, VA or Basking Ridge, NJ. Onsite

Responsibilities

• Lead the integration of 5G components including core network and RAN over a satellite network.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compatibility and performance optimization.
• Satellite & RF Gateway Integration: Design and implement integration strategies for satellite communication systems and RF gateways.
• Ensure interoperability between terrestrial and non-terrestrial networks.
• Field Testing & Validation: Plan and execute field trials for 5G and satellite systems.
• Analyze performance metrics and troubleshoot issues in real-time environments.
• Integration Testing: Develop and run test cases for system-level integration.
• Validate end-to-end functionality across hardware and software components.
• Customer Coordination: Serve as the primary technical liaison with customers during deployment and testing phases.
• Provide technical support and documentation tailored to customer needs.
• Technology Team Interface: Work closely with R&D and engineering teams to relay field insights and contribute to product improvements.
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on system architecture.

Qualifications
