Job summary

Verizon in Alpharetta seeks an Enterprise Architect to design and deliver large-scale 4G/5G, CBRS, and edge computing solutions for enterprise and government customers. You will build trusted advisor relationships, translate business needs into scalable network architectures, and collaborate with sales, engineering, and partners to win neutral host and private network opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 5+ years in tech with pre-sales/consulting
• Experience designing 4G/5G/CBRS wireless, SDN, cloud and edge architectures
• Experience with DAS and small-cell-based In-Building systems
• Strong knowledge of private networking, neutral host networks, and hybrid architectures
• Ability to travel across the US and abroad; valid driver’s license and passport

Responsibilities

• Design modern 5G connectivity solutions including private core and edge compute features
• Develop scalable network architectures for high performance, reliability, and security
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and adapt reference architectures
• Act as trusted advisor to customers to achieve business goals through Verizon tech
• Present design packages to customers with Verizon stakeholders
• Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to ensure cohesive build execution
• Explain future enablement through Verizon’s agile network architecture
