Job summary

Alcami Corporation in Charleston, SC is seeking a Sr. Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technician for the 3rd shift to support manufacturing of parenteral or solid dosage forms for commercial and clinical trials.

The role requires following SOPs and cGMPs, operating processing equipment, documenting activities, and performing in-process testing while wearing appropriate PPE. On-site, with potential occasional extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification in a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of GMP and prior pharmaceutical work experience required.
• Ability to read and comprehend detailed written instructions and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Follows applicable SOPs and cGMPs to perform assigned duties and tasks.
• Ensures timely completion and compliance with cGMP and all other relevant company training requirements.
• Assists with manufacturing techniques and technologies per SOPs and cGMPs.
• Operates manufacturing equipment and material handling systems.
• Documents activities in real time on controlled documentation per SOPs and cGMPs.
• Performs in-process testing, weight checks, component counting and basic math calculations.
• Performs cleaning of rooms, tools and equipment.
• May work additional hours including weekends as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
