Job summary

Formlabs is expanding its R&D team to advance 3D printing technology. The role focuses on developing new printing techniques, validating small changes in Galvo control, and leading projects across mechanical, software, and systems engineering.

You will design and run experiments, analyze results, and propose enhancements to hardware and software. A strong portfolio and proficiency in Python or MATLAB are required.

Qualifications

3+ years post-graduate experience.
Ability to design and build test fixtures for experiments.
Experience with experiment design and data analysis.
A portfolio showcasing past projects.
Understand programming and scientific computing (Python or Matlab).

Responsibilities

Create new 3D printing techniques from printer architectures to Galvo control.
Lead projects and investigate new technologies.
Tackle complex problems across engineering disciplines.
Perform experiments and use results to improve software or hardware.
Evaluate current printer performance for improvements.
Partner with teams to redesign support-structure algorithms based on results.
