Job summary

Remedy Tutors is seeking committed tutors to support children and young people with special educational needs and additional learning requirements in Greenwich. You will provide individual tuition that recognises each student's strengths and helps address their barriers to learning.

Teach Maths and English with adaptable methods, supporting literacy, numeracy and wider academic development; aim to boost confidence, motivation and independence while monitoring progress and providing feedback.

Qualifications

• Confident teaching skills in Maths and English.
• SEN/SEND experience desirable.
• Patient and adaptable approach.

Position: One-to-One SEN Specialist Tutor
Location: Greenwich
Hours: Flexible, up to 40 hours per week
Pay: Competitive, depending on experience and qualifications
Contract: Ongoing placements

Deliver Personalised Educational Support

Remedy Tutors is seeking committed tutors to support children and young people with special educational needs and additional learning requirements.

Students may have autism, ADHD, dyslexia, SEMH needs, speech and language difficulties or social communication needs. You will provide individual tuition that recognises each student's strengths and helps address their barriers to learning.

The Role

Teach both Maths and English.

Adapt teaching methods to suit individual needs.

Support literacy, numeracy and wider academic development.

Encourage confidence, motivation and independence.

Monitor progress and provide feedback.

Requirements
