Job summary

LotusWorks is seeking a Water Treatment Engineer for Hillsboro, OR to support ultrapure and wastewater systems in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. You will analyze data, troubleshoot, and optimize processes to improve reliability and performance, collaborating with engineering teams to refine SOPs and maintenance plans.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in water treatment operations, a Bachelor's in engineering, and strong data analysis skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in wastewater or ultrapure water treatment system operations and maintenance engineering.
• Semiconductor or high-purity water treatment experience is a plus.
• Strong technical knowledge of water treatment systems.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret and act on complex system data.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess the condition and performance of wastewater treatment systems
• Analyze operational data (pressure, flow rate, conductivity, etc.) to optimize system performance
• Adjust maintenance schedules based on system performance data and trends.
• Troubleshoot and optimize chemical dosing and regeneration parameters to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
• Identify and analyze biological, chemical, or particulate fouling sources.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to modify operational parameters or implement pre-treatment strategies.
• Develop, update, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with performance and safety standards.
• Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.
