Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a Product Engineer to drive semiconductor equipment product development in a high-stakes, dynamic environment. You will collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to provide real-time problem-solving and drive design improvements across prototyping, deployment, and field support.

You’ll design experiments, build and test prototypes, and present clear recommendations while engaging with customers globally.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD with relevant field and experience.
• Exceptional analytical and experimental design skills.
• Creative thinking and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Clear communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively engineer semiconductor equipment and process designs to resolve customer issues.
• Support product development from prototyping to deployment and field support.
• Design, run experiments and prototypes to solve complex problems.
• Present analyses and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
• Travel up to 25% to customer sites for near-term releases and support.
