Applied Materials is offering a co-op in the Advanced Project Development Department in Gloucester, MA. You will work on developing and optimizing processes for next-gen semiconductor products, with hands-on wafer plating demonstrations and wafer metrology projects.

The role requires enrollment in a relevant graduate program, GPA 3.0+, and programming in C/C++, Matlab, or Python. On-site work, 6–9 month duration, starting November 2026; compensation is $41–$50 per hour.

Formación

• Currently enrolled in a Doctorate or Master's degree program in Materials Science & Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or related field.
• Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale.
• Experience in semiconductor processing or manufacturing preferred.
• Programming experience in C/C++, Matlab, Python preferred.
• Quick learner

Responsabilidades

• Assist with laboratory plating demonstrations, including tool preparation, processing wafers, measuring wafers, documentation.
• Lead small development projects involving wafer metrology.
• Support process engineering through procurement, shipping, and inventory functions.
• Start date: Beginning of November 2026; Duration: 6 - 9 months; Location: On-site, Gloucester, MA
