Job summary

GRAND CANYON UNIVERSITY seeks passionate part-time adjunct faculty for the Manufacturing Specialist Foundation course at the Phoenix campus. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree with extensive experience in semiconductor manufacturing. Responsibilities include facilitating lectures, engaging students in learning, and assessing performance.

This position offers tuition benefits and other employee perks. Classes will run in-person Monday through Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m., beginning October 12, 2026, and ending November 13, 2026.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industry experience in semiconductor manufacturing (preferred).
• 5–7 years of industry experience in semiconductor manufacturing (minimum).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate classroom lectures and discussions.
• Engage students in learning course objectives and topics.
• Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom.

Skills

Industry experience in semiconductor manufacturing

Knowledge of workplace safety

Understanding of production quality

Education

Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
