Job summary

Jireh Semiconductor is seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the Hillsboro, OR fabrication facility. This is a day shift role on a compressed 12-hour schedule, Wednesday through Friday, with every other Saturday.

The candidate will monitor and maintain critical facility systems, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting Emergency Response Team activities.

Qualifications

• Specialized trade skill related to facilities and 4-6 years of experience operating and maintaining a semiconductor or large industrial plant.
• Able to read SDSs and follow environmental and safety regulations; chemical handling is preferred.
• Prior semiconductor industry experience is preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Word, Excel and email are required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor operation and respond to issues on cooling towers, chillers, fab tool cooling water systems, pumps, boilers, air compressors, electrical, Fire Life Safety, HVAC, waste management and related systems.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and practice safe work, with clear escalation when needed.
• Respond to facility system alarms and contribute to Emergency Response Team readiness.
• Perform PMs and plant rounds, change chemical drums, operate forklift and manage waste generated by the fab.
• Suggest improvements; complete tasks with minimal supervision and follow established procedures.
• Be flexible with shifts to support coverage and meet manufacturing metrics.
