Job summary

Aleron is seeking an Engineering Technician I for a contract role in Tualatin, OR, focusing on assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and prototyping of advanced semiconductor equipment. You will work with engineers to build and validate complex mechanical and electrical systems while supporting NPI and manufacturing improvements.

Qualifications

1+ years in manufacturing or engineering support roles.
Experience assembling mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical systems from engineering documentation.
Experience following detailed procedures and assembly documentation.

Responsibilities

Assemble and test newly developed semiconductor equipment using drawings and documentation.
Follow instructions and shift pass-downs to build mechanical and electrical hardware.
Execute tests and document results, generating PRs when issues are found.
Support fabrication, prototyping, and engineering development activities.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues in assembly/test environments.
Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve BOM and manufacturability issues.
