Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Execute setup, calibration, and preventative/corrective maintenance on production equipment, including wet chemistry, plating, and dry high-vacuum toolsets.
• Monitor tool performance and analyze data to proactively identify equipment-related issues and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional support teams to improve equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and drive performance improvements.
• Document all maintenance activities, repair findings, and parts usage accurately using established systems and procedures.
• Lead or contribute to continuous improvement projects, with a focus on equipment optimization and yield enhancements.
• Support cleanroom operations while strictly adhering to safety protocols and maintaining full cleanroom attire at all times.
• Provide engineering evaluation of equipment and quality issue escalations, particularly during off-shift hours when the Module Engineer is unavailable.
• Design and develop relevant tooling and fixtures, partnering with engineering on repair development procedures to ensure manufacturability.
• Support new equipment installations, sustaining activities, and process improvement initiatives in collaboration with engineering teams.
