Job summary

World Wide Professional Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Dry Mechanical Project Manager/Superintendent to oversee dry mechanical installations for a large-scale semiconductor manufacturing construction project in Lafayette, Indiana. The role leads field operations, coordinates across EPCM partners, and ensures safe, efficient execution per project requirements.

Qualified candidates should have deep semiconductor HVAC knowledge, strong field leadership, and experience with cleanroom

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-10 years in mechanical construction for fabs or large industrial projects.
• Deep knowledge of semiconductor HVAC, cleanroom mechanicals, and subfab systems.
• Experience coordinating with EPCM partners and subcontractors on complex projects.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BIM models, and mechanical specs.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject-matter expertise on cleanroom HVAC, MAUs, exhaust, and dry mechanical concepts.
• Lead installation of all dry mechanical systems including AHUs, ductwork, and piping.
• Oversee design coordination for cleanroom airflow, tool hookups, and equipment placement.
• Support energy efficiency, system optimization, and sustainability requirements.
• Assist with clash detection, space coordination, and 3D model reviews.
• Review mechanical specifications, hanger designs, and piping/duct designs.
• Coordinate with EPC, AE, and construction teams for compliant design and construction.
• Support tendering, bid evaluations, and contractor engagement.
• Monitor progress, resolve field issues, and conduct system walkdowns for turnover.
