Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in mechanics is a plus.
• Proven mechanic experience, ideally with semi trailers or other heavy‑duty vehicles.
• Solid grasp of mechanical systems and diagnostic tools.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled maintenance and corrective repairs on semi trailers, including brake systems, suspension components, and electrical circuits.
• Diagnose faults efficiently and troubleshoot mechanical issues to root cause.
• Conduct safety and compliance inspections to ensure trailers meet industry standards.
• Record all work performed with clear, accurate maintenance logs.
• Partner with fellow technicians to hit deadlines and keep the fleet moving.
• Maintain a clean, organized bay and follow safety protocols at all times.
• Stay current on industry trends and emerging trailer technologies.
