Handyman Connection of Lincoln, NE is seeking a semi-retired Journeyman Electrician to support growth of our local service team. The role offers flexible scheduling and pays $35-40 per hour, depending on skills and availability.

As part of our craft-focused network, you will perform residential wiring, install and repair electrical components, and coordinate with our office on scheduling and customer communication.

Qualifications

• Experience as a residential journeyman electrician.
• Strong references and a positive attitude.
• Must have valid driver's license and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform and coordinate electrical installation, repair and service in residential and light commercial settings.
• Install and repair electrical equipment and circuits; troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Estimate materials and quantities for projects and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• The Residential Wireman performs and coordinates the installation, repair and service of electric and electronic components in a residential and light commercial setting. You must have experience as a residential journeyman electrician, and you must have a positive attitude.
• Install, maintain and repair installed existing equipment and related AC and DC existing branch circuits and feeders.
• Determine general condition of all electrical equipment, be able to troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and determine extent of necessary repairs.
• Ability to determine and clearly identify proper materials and material quantities for new and existing repair projects.
• Evaluate customer requests, price projects, troubleshoot customer issues, and present a description of a work order to a customer.

Requirements

• Must have current Driver's License and submit to a background check
• Must have tools, vehicle and good references
• Must have experience in the remodeling or home repair trades
• Must have a smart phone and access to the internet
