J.B. Hunt is offering a CDL driver apprenticeship in California to new graduates. Trainees work with a seasoned driver trainer for six weeks, earning $18 per hour during training. After successful completion, you transition to a full-time role with the company’s established trucking operations.

Compensation includes hourly wages for all hours plus activity-based bonuses; during training you are paid $200 per day. The program emphasizes safety and hands-on experience with an industry leader.

Job description

Are you a new CDL graduate looking for truck driver training? Drive with J.B. Hunt’s Apprenticeship Program and receive on-the-job training and experience with an industry leader.

Drivers in this program work with an experienced J.B. Hunt driver trainer for six weeks before transitioning to a full-time position upon successful completion. Driver will be paid $200 per day during training.

This position is paid an hourly rate for all hours worked plus an activity-based bonus payment. The activity-based bonus payment is the sum of your eligible activity pay less your base hourly earnings for the week.Drivers in this position over the last six to twelve months have averaged annualized earnings of $82,500.
