Job summary

Salt City Trucking seeks a CDL-A Semi-Local Reefer Driver for a dedicated account based in American Falls, ID. Earn $93,648 per year with a $10,000 bonus and steady home time while operating in the Northwest and Mountain West.

The role features no-touch freight, reefer trailers, and routes across WA/ID/OR/UT with mountain driving on the Blue Mountain Range year-round. Expect a Tue–Sat shift, start between 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM, with ~11-hour days.

Qualifications

• Requires valid Class A CDL and at least 3 months verifiable experience.
• Must pass DOT medical card and maintain a clean driving record.
• No SAP drivers; able to chain on mountain routes.

Responsibilities

• Operate a semi-local account across WA, ID, OR, and UT.
• Haul refrigerated freight with reefer trailers; no-touch freight.
• Drop-and-hook with occasional live unload.
• Stay with assigned automatic heavy haul sleeper trucks; account residency during time off.
• Local/port deliveries as needed.
