The Driving Desk is hiring Class A CDL Truck Drivers for a semi-local dedicated position based near Joliet and Elwood, Illinois. Drivers enjoy frequent home time and weekends off while delivering general merchandise across the Midwest.

This role offers competitive weekly earnings, mileage and stop pay, and opportunities for new-hire training pay and bonuses. Primarily daytime driving with assigned automatic trucks and a consistent freight operation.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license required.
• Experience with semi-local, dedicated routes.
• Comfort with daytime driving and weekend time off.

Responsibilities

• Transport general merchandise from a distribution center to retail locations.
• Make multi-stop deliveries throughout the Midwest.
• Operate routes serving Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, and Michigan.
• Complete deliveries in Chicagoland, Minneapolis, Green Bay, Des Moines, and St. Louis.
• Perform drop-and-hook trailer exchanges.
