Job summary

Kiner Farm in Bathgate, ND is seeking a semi driver for the sugarbeet harvest season. You will operate a manual-transmission truck and back up a trailer to load beets in the field, then haul to piling sites in Hamilton ND and McArthur. Housing is provided if needed, with access to a washer, dryer, cooking facilities, shower, and TV.

You will have your own truck to drive and a private room to sleep in. Responsibilities include fueling and inspecting the truck daily, and potential on-the-job

Qualifications

• Must have semi driving experience.
• Required to drive a manual transmission truck.
• Must be able to back up a trailer effectively.
• No CDL required but a valid driver’s license is needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive semi and trailer to load beets and haul to the piling site.
• Fuel and check truck at end of day.
• You may be trained to drive on/off the piler if needed.

You will also be responsible for fueling and checking over your truck at the end of the day.We have about 275 acres of beets on a small family farm.
