Jobbeschreibung

Maison Margiela is a Paris-based fashion house founded in 1988 by Belgian designer Martin Margiela. Celebrating unconventional aesthetics and embracing the philosophy that fashion is an art of expression rather than a cult of personality, Maison Margiela offers haute couture, ready-to-wear for women and men, contemporary line MM6, footwear, interior design, and accessories, including leather goods, fine jewelry and fragrance.

In 2002, the French house became part of OTB. Along with sister brands of the group, Maison Margiela continues pushing the boundaries of modern fashion while preserving its distinctive identity and heritage.

Position Overview

The Sales Supervisor is a working leader who drives sales performance, develops talent, and elevates the client experience. While maintaining an active personal client portfolio, they lead the sales team by example — translating store objectives into clear daily actions, coaching Client Advisors on the behaviors that drive results, and building a culture of clienteling, accountability, and brand excellence.

Partnering closely with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager, the Sales Supervisor uses business data to identify opportunities, close performance gaps, and deliver sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Business Performance

  • Serve as the product and selling expert for the sales team
  • Lead product knowledge moments, role plays, and selling exercises; partner with Retail Training on company initiatives
  • Reinforce brand storytelling, craftsmanship, materials, styling, and collection knowledge
  • Ensure the team understands seasonal collections, launches, campaigns, and commercial priorities

What Success Looks Like

A successful Sales Supervisor is a commercial leader, coach, clienteling champion, and brand ambassador. They know the business, the numbers, the clients, and their people — and they create the conditions for the team to succeed rather than simply managing the floor.

They lead from the floor, sell by example, develop talent, and coach behaviors rather than manage outcomes. The Sales Supervisor is successful when the team performs at a higher level because of their leadership, and that performance translates into sustainable sales growth, stronger client relationships, and a high-performing store culture.
