Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction management and/or craft supervision experience.
• Current affiliation with a union trade is required.
• STSC Certification is preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification is required.
• Valid chauffeur's license or higher.

Responsibilities

• Manage self-perform trade crews and ensure safety and schedules are met.
• Oversee staffing, workforce planning, and development.
• Interface with Union representatives for effective communication.
• Dispatch manpower, tools, and equipment to meet job specifications.
• Monitor and ensure Aristeo workers' safety and report incidents.
• Partner with the Project Manager on project goals and strategies.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and provide feedback on best practices.

As a Self‑Perform Superintendent, you will lead field crews to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage self‑perform trade crews to ensure safety, project coordination, and schedules are being met
• Oversee staffing, workforce planning, and development to maintain the talent and expertise needed for current and future work
• Interface with Union representatives, develop positive relationships, and ensure communication of necessary skill levels for personnel
• Manage the effective dispatch of manpower, tools, and equipment to meet and exceed the job specifications
• Maintain knowledge of schedule and performance for all active and pending projects
• Drive productivity and quality through the use of audits, LUA reports, coaching, etc.
• Monitor and ensure Aristeo workers’ safety; ensure all incidents are reported immediately, and support the investigation of all incidents as needed
• Partner with the Project Manager to align on project goals, field strategies, risks, and upcoming needs to support proactive decision‑making
• Attend pre‑bid meetings, provide feedback and input on best practices, and proper means and methods to meet and exceed expectations

What You’ll Bring:

• Highly organized with strong planning and analytic skills, and expert attention to detail

• Ability to read, understand, and interpret plans and specifications
• Proven ability to lead self‑perform trade crews with a strong focus on productivity and efficient use of labor, material, and equipment
• Ability to manage all aspects of a project, including construction (technology, equipment, and methods), craft agreements and jurisdiction, schedule management, and safety requirements
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Autodesk, and Viewpoint software

Experience:

• Minimum of 5+ years of construction management and/or craft supervision experience
• Must be currently affiliated with a union trade (carpenters, laborers, operators, cement masons, etc)
• 4‑year engineering degree or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience
• STSC Certification is preferred
• OSHA 30
• Have a valid chauffeur's license or higher
