Job summary

A Plus Health Care, part of the Addus HomeCare family, is hiring Self Directed Personal Care Aides. You will travel between homes to assist clients with daily living activities including meal prep, transferring, dressing, bathing, light housekeeping, shopping and socialization.

A PCA/CNA background and current driver’s license are preferred. We offer a no-cost 16-hour training course to meet educational requirements, and promote career growth with flexible hours and notes on health benefits

Qualifications

• Trained PCA or CNA welcome to apply and start right away.
• We provide a 16-hour training course at no cost to you.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities (meal prep, dressing, bathing, transferring, light housekeeping).
• Provide social interaction and accompany clients on shopping and outings.
• Travel between clients' homes to deliver care.
• Maintain patient safety and dignity during care sessions.
