Job summary

The candidate will develop lessons, collaborate with other educators, and use technology to support instruction, assessment, and student growth in line with IEP goals and ARD processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required special education endorsements.
• Ability to develop and implement IEP goals and ARD-related processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the district curriculum and show written evidence of preparation.
• Prepare lessons reflecting accommodations for differences in individual student needs.
• Present material according to TEA guidelines, policies, and regulations.
• Plan and use instructional strategies, materials, and technology for diverse learners.
• Assess student learning styles and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEPs.
• Coordinate with staff to set goals, objectives, and methods.
• Supervise instructional aides and volunteers and monitor work.
• Utilize technology to enhance teaching and learning.
