Job summary

Covetus in United States (Charlotte area) seeks an experienced QA Architect with 10+ years in Selenium automation and Java development to design and drive robust testing strategies for banking and payments domains.

You will lead automation frameworks, oversee API and performance testing, and mentor QA teams while aligning testing efforts with Agile sprints and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional hands on experience in Selenium Automation with Java Development.
• Must have Banking experience and good to have Payments processing experience.
• Hands-on in design and developing automated testing systems and frameworks.
• Proven work experience as a QA Architect or similar role in software development.
• Experience with automated testing tools and methodologies; strong QA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable automation frameworks using Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Cucumber (BDD).
• Lead test planning, framework enhancement, and integration of automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Conduct end-to-end API testing and backend integration validations using Postman, Rest Assured, and SoapUI.
• Validate Kafka-based event-driven systems with real-time message verification techniques.
• Lead test efforts for Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud workflows and data validation.
• Mentor and lead QA teams, perform code reviews, and align testing goals with Agile sprint cycles.

Testing Expertise:

• Automation: Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Cucumber (BDD), Cypress
• API Testing: Postman, REST Assured, SOAP UI, Ready API
• Performance Testing: JMeter

Domain-Specific Testing:

• ACH and Card Transaction Validations
• Kafka Messaging Validation

Programming & Tools:

• Spring Boot, RESTful Services, Microservices, Hibernate, AngularJS, jQuery
• Oracle 12c, SQL Server
• Test Management: JIRA, HP ALM, QMetry, Confluence
• Reporting: Allure, TestNG Reports

10+ years of professional hands on experience in Selenium Automation with Java Development.

Must have Banking experience and good to have Payments processing experience.

Proven work experience as a QA Architect or similar role in software development.

Experience with automated testing tools and methodologies Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.

Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.

Ability to document and troubleshoot errors

Working knowledge of agile frameworks and regression testing

Architect and implement scalable automation frameworks using Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Cucumber (BDD).

Drive UI, API strategies across web platforms

Lead test planning, framework enhancement, and integration of automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps).

Conduct end-to-end API testing and backend integration validations using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, and SoapUI.

Validate Kafka-based event-driven systems with real-time message verification techniques.

Perform ETL testing and data validation using advanced SQL queries on Oracle and SQL Server.

Lead test efforts for Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud, including workflows, case management, and data validation.

Execute mobile automation testing using Appium and real devices/emulators in varying network conditions.

Mentor and lead QA teams, perform code reviews, and align testing goals with Agile sprint cycles.

Engage in defect triage, maintain traceability matrices, and report on automation ROI and quality metrics.
