Job summary

US Foods® is seeking a Part-Time Night Warehouse Selector in Phoenix, AZ. You will safely and efficiently select and palletize customer orders, with emphasis on speed, accuracy, and teamwork. The role starts at $26.89 per hour with overtime opportunities and potential to earn up to $31.64 per hour.

Shifts run 4:30pm until finished, Sunday through Friday with varying days off. Must be able to operate electric pallet jacks, lift up to 80 lbs, and work in multi-temperature environments.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and communicate in English to attend trainings and operate reports.
• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts; Sundays to Thursdays, with weekends/holidays possible.
• Experience in high endurance or highly physical activity is preferred.
• Experience selecting large-scale orders in a warehouse is preferred.
• Experience operating motorized pallet jacks or similar equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately select customer orders and verify correctness.
• Construct and wrap pallets to meet productivity standards.
• Conduct pre-shift equipment checks and operate electric pallet jacks safely.
• Transfer products from racks to pallets using order selecting software.
• Transport palletized orders to docks and apply shrink-wrap.
• Maintain clean aisles and return equipment to charging area.

Night Warehouse Selector (Part-Time) - Position Overview

As a Night Warehouse Selector (Part-Time) at US Foods®, you will play a crucial role in our fast-paced, dynamic environment where speed, agility, and accuracy are key to our success. Your primary responsibility will be to safely and efficiently select and prepare customer orders, ensuring that all products are accurately selected and palletized in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately select customer orders. confirming that selected products are correct and undamaged.
• Construct and wrap pallets to meet weekly productivity and accuracy standards.
• Conduct pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate electric pallet jacks. Maintain clean and safe aisles and return equipment to the charging area.
• Transfer products from racks to pallets using order selecting software.
• Transport products to the designated dock area and shrink-wrap palletized orders.
• Work with the team to maintain clean and safe aisles and return equipment to the charging area.
• All other duties assigned by management.

Physical Requirements

• Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from less than 0 degrees to over 100 degrees required.
• Lift, carry, push, pull, and lower 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively; moving 1,000+ cases of product during each shift required.
• Continuously stand, grasp objects & manipulate objects; occasionally sit; frequently walk, drive pallet jack, climb/balance, stoop/squat, kneel/bend, bend, reach above shoulder, twist, & use manual dexterity.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and communicate in the English language such as to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive safety and job-related coaching, read labels, and enter information on reports if needed.
• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday - Thursday. At times weekends and holidays will be required.
• Recent experience (within past 6 months) in high endurance or highly physical activity or role preferred e.g. lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, construction work, etc.
• Experience selecting large scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred.
• Experience operating motorized pallet jack or similar equipment preferred.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds). The expected base rate for this role is between $26.89 and $31.64.

As applicable, this role may also receive overtime compensation.
