Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Lubbock, Texas is hiring a Warehouse Selector III to help fulfill orders in a fast-paced distribution center.

You will read labels, select items, and move goods using powered equipment while adhering to safety guidelines. This full-time position offers start-time 9AM, comprehensive benefits after 60 days, and opportunities for advancement within a long-standing logistics leader.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Comfort using label-reading and scanning for orders.

Responsibilities

• Read or scan labels to identify slot location, product description, and quantity for orders.
• Pull correct quantities of items and place in tote to complete order.
• Lift full-case items onto conveyor, pallet, or cart as needed.
• Transport product using powered equipment when required.
• Work safely to prevent injuries and keep products secure.

• Pay Rate: $18.25 per hour.
• Monday - Friday 9AM Start Time

What You’ll Do As a Warehouse Selector III

• Read or scan labels to identify slot location, product description, and quantity required for each order.
• Pull correct quantities of open-case items and place in tote (use multiple totes if needed) to complete order.
• Pull correct quantities of full-case items and lift onto conveyor line, pallet, or cart.
• Transport selected full-case product, using powered equipment if needed.
• Work safely to prevent injury and damage to people and products.

Qualifications You’ll Bring As a Warehouse Teammate

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
