Job summary

Lindamood Inc. is seeking an experienced Selective Demolition Superintendent to lead field operations for selective and interior demolition projects in Irving, TX.

The role oversees daily jobsite activities, coordinates crews and equipment, maintains schedules, and ensures safe, efficient completion per project requirements. The ideal candidate has at least five years of superintendent or field leadership experience in selective and interior demolition, with strong plan review and coordination

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of superintendent or field leadership experience.
• Strong experience with selective and interior demolition.
• Working knowledge of demolition sequencing, construction drawings, project specifications, and scopes of work.
• Current OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification and First Aid/CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily field operations for selective and interior demolition projects.
• Supervise field crews, subcontractors, equipment, and jobsite activities.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and project sequencing to maintain production schedules.
• Review project plans, specifications, scopes of work, and demolition drawings.
• Coordinate demolition activities with Project Managers, General Contractors, owners, and other trades.
• Ensure selective demolition work is completed within defined limits and without damage to structures or systems designated to remain.
• Monitor jobsite productivity, quality, schedule, and overall project progress.
• Conduct daily safety meetings, job hazard assessments, and site inspections.
• Identify field issues, changes in conditions, or potential delays and communicate them to project leadership.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, production records, and required project documentation.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, debris removal, and organization of active work areas.
• Enforce company safety policies, project requirements, and applicable OSHA regulations.
• Assist with planning upcoming work, manpower needs, equipment requirements, and site logistics.

Position Summary

Lindamood Inc. is seeking an experienced Selective Demolition Superintendent to lead field operations for selective and interior demolition projects. This position is responsible for overseeing daily jobsite activities, coordinating crews and equipment, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years of superintendent or field leadership experience with a strong background in selective demolition, interior demolition, and renovation-related demolition work.

Position Requirements

• Minimum five (5) years of superintendent, foreman, or comparable field leadership experience
• Strong experience with selective and interior demolition
• Working knowledge of demolition sequencing, construction drawings, project specifications, and scopes of work
• Experience supervising crews and coordinating multiple field activities
• Strong understanding of construction and demolition safety practices
• Current OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification
• Current First Aid/CPR Certification
• Ability to identify jobsite hazards and enforce safe work practices
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with field employees, Project Managers, General Contractors, and other project stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and make sound field decisions
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to walk, climb, bend, and work throughout active demolition and construction sites
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures, dust, noise, and other jobsite conditions
• Ability to properly wear and utilize required PPE
• Ability to identify hazards, assess risk, and respond appropriately to changing field conditions
• Ability to remain organized and effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment
