You will work with signal processing, wave propagation, and numerical optimization, collaborating with Seismic Imagers and Software Engineers on GPU/CPU HPC projects.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s in Geophysics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
• Ability to abstract geophysical concepts with mathematical language.
• Excellent coding skills in C/C++, CUDA, FORTRAN, Python, OpenCL.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative signal processing, wave propagation, and imaging algorithms.
• Validate results with senior staff using synthetic and field data.
• Collaborate with Seismic Imagers and Software Engineers on HPC applications.
• Present work at conferences and prepare technical articles for journals.
