Viridien is seeking a Seismic Imaging team member to apply seismic data processing, velocity modeling, and wavelet analysis to generate precise 3D subsurface images. You will work with state-of-the-art geoscience technology and HPC applications, collaborating with research and software teams to advance techniques and publish results.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s in Geophysics, Physics, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or related discipline.
• Excellent physical intuition.

• Highly motivated and eager to learn.
• Collaborative team player.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
• Experience with a UNIX environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of seismic imaging workflows and data analysis.
• Ensure quality control and QC procedures for data products.
• Conduct research-driven problem-solving and optimize workflows.
• Collaborate with Research and Software Development teams to develop techniques and tools.
• Contribute to publications on emerging technologies.
