You will perform structural analysis, seismic design, and develop construction documents, working across disciplines and with the BIM team.

The role emphasizes collaboration, leadership, and mentorship of junior engineers, with responsibilities from planning through construction, and a pathway toward licensure.

Qualifications

• One year of full-time work experience in structural consulting.
• BS in Civil Engineering (Structures) and EIT required.
• GPA 3.0+; must show relevant coursework in structural subjects.
• California-specific codes familiarity encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Design gravity, lateral, and foundation systems for new and retrofit projects in high seismic zones.
• Perform structural analysis and seismic design using FEA software.
• Develop construction documents and details for permit/construction.
• Collaborate with BIM and other disciplines; mentor junior engineers.
• Provide technical guidance and ensure quality of drawings.
