Job summary

Sittercity is seeking a reliable caregiver in Ohio (Hilliard area) to help our family with a 10-year-old child after school. Duties include getting her off the bus, keeping her safe, providing snacks, and playtime.

Must have special needs experience and own a car. Hours are 4:00–5:30 p.m. on days that vary; the schedule is known 2 months in advance. The 12-year-old brother will be home to help, and pets are present.

Responsibilities

• Get the child off the bus and ensure safety.
• Provide snacks, supervise play, and engage with the child.
• Assist with diaper changes if needed.

Job description

We need someone who is able to get our 10 year old off the bus. She has Down syndrome but is super easy, loves having someone to play with. Hours are 4-530. Days will vary as I’m a nurse that makes my own schedule but will know which days 2 months in advance. Job will be basically to keep her safe, getting her snacks, playing, and might need diaper changed. Our 12 year old son will be home as well to help. He’s just not quite ready to take her on. He wont need anything from the sitter. He’s independent and runs around with friends. :)
