Job summary

Sittercity Incorporated is seeking a kind, patient babysitter for weekends to care for our toddler as we move. Our child has high-functioning autism, so experience with special‑needs children is preferred and appreciated.

You will be attentive, keep him safe, and engage him with fun activities, and prepare a simple snack if needed. We’re seeking flexibility for 1–2 hour sessions for appointments or errands and be someone we can rely on for occasional care.

Job description

We’re looking for a kind, patient, babysitter for our toddler, for weekends only as we will be moving within a few months so we’re just looking for help on projects and date nights. Our child has high functional autism, so experience with special-needs children is preferred. We’re looking for someone attentive, caring, and comfortable keeping him safe and engaged with fun activities and preparing a simple snack if needed. We had a wonderful sitter for times when we need 4+ hours of care, but we’re looking for an additional sitter with flexibility for shorter 1–2 hour periods, such as appointments or errands. We’d love to find someone we can get to know and call for occasional care as needed.
