Seeking Cavalier & Drosselmeyer for Upcoming Nutcracker Production – Queens, NY

Company: Dance Matters NYC
Location: Long Island City, NY
Compensation: $1,000

We are looking for a versatile male dancer for Dance Matters NYC's Nutcracker production this December at Queens Theatre. The dancer must be confident, strong with partnering, and able to perform the coda section of the Nutcracker Cavalier. He should also enjoy acting a little for our Drosselmeyer section.

Rehearsals

• CAVALIER Rehearsals (Studio 37-04 Queens Blvd):
  • Sundays: Nov 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, Dec 7 — 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm
  • Dress Rehearsal (Queens Theatre): Tuesday Dec 9 — 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
• Drosselmeyer Rehearsals:
  • Nov 1, 8, 15, 22 – Dec 6 — 5:15 pm to 7:15 pm
  • Dress Rehearsal (Queens Theatre): Thursday Dec 11 — 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Performances

• Saturday Dec 13 — 2:00 pm and 5:30 pm
• Competitive compensation to be paid on Monday, December 15
