Job summary

Sittercity.com is seeking a dependable, compassionate pediatric caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a 5-year-old boy with autism, developmental disabilities and epilepsy. The caregiver must be patient, nurturing, and capable of hands-on support with feeding, mobility, and daily activities.

Position is part-time/as-needed, with Saturdays 6:00 AM–5:00 PM and occasional weekday PRN hours. Pay is $17.00 per hour. A caregiver with own car and special-needs experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have experience caring for children with autism, developmental disabilities, and epilepsy.
• Sitter must have own car.

My son has autism, developmental disabilities, and epilepsy. He is nonverbal and requires hands-on assistance with feeding, mobility, and daily care. I am looking for someone who is nurturing, and responsible. My son is a sweet, happy, and a 5-year-old who loves to laugh & explore his surroundings. Approximately 90% of the time, he is all smiles.
