Job summary

Sittercity is seeking a kind, active caregiver in Seattle, WA to help with after-school pickup and supervision for two children, ages 6 and nearly 11. You’ll drive if needed, have your own reliable car, and maintain a clean driving record while engaging kids with games, crafts, and storytelling from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM, Tuesday through Friday.

Occasional days when both children are home may warrant a higher rate (up to $35 per hour).

Qualifications

• Experience caring for children in a home setting.
• Ability to transport children safely with a reliable vehicle.
• Clean driving record and responsible travel history.

Responsibilities

• Pickup and supervise 1 child after school; occasionally both children at home.
• Engage children with games, crafts and stories from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM, Tue–Fri.

Job description

Looking for a kind, active caregiver to help with after-school pickup. Usually this would mean picking up and watching 1 child at a time, though on occasion both children are at home and we'd increase the rate accordingly ($35). Start date is between Oct 28-11/2. You should have your own reliable car and a clean driving record, and some experience in childcare. The kiddos, ages 6 and almost-11, go to 2 different schools. They love building, creating, and stories.The schedule is from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM, Tuesday through Friday. Pets: 1 large old English sheepdog, 2 cats. If you enjoy working with children and love to play games, we’d love to hear from you.
